I Live United in Southeast Michigan.

The Details

Civic Leaders Lunch and Learn (Networking)
The Civic Leaders Lunch and Learn series has been created to enable membership to have a dialogue with regional leaders addressing issues at the macro level. The sessions will provide a 10-year view of the work happening to make this region one of the Top 5 places to live in the country by 2030. This session, hosted by Dona Ponepinto, United Way's Vice-President of Financial Stability and Community Investment, will focus on what financial stability means for this region and the players making it happen. Discussion will focus on:

  • Micro-Enterprise thru IDAs (Individual Development Accounts)

  • Greater Detroit Centers for Working Families

  • Earned Income Tax Credit Initiative

There is truly innovative and ground-breaking work happening in this region around Financial Stability. This is your opportunity to ask questions, learn more and find a way that you can get involved.
